About this work

Christ points out to three men a sower in the field. The man scatters seed on his field. The seed that falls on the path is eaten by birds. Another part finds no good ground on the stones. A third part falls among the thorn bushes and is choked. Only the seed on the field comes to good ground. In the background houses and a church. Above the image a title. Below it six lines of verse and a reference to Matthew 13: 3-5. The print is part of an album.
