About this work
Statue of Hygieia, dressed in classical attire, with a diadem in her hair. Around her right arm winds the sacred snake of her father Asclepius, which she offers to drink from the bowl in her left hand. On the base is the coat of arms of Vincenzo Giustiniani. The print is part of an album containing a series of prints after sculptures in the collection of the Galleria Giustiniani in Rome.
