About this work
Statue of Hygieia, dressed in classical drapery, a diadem in her hair. Around her right arm winds the sacred snake of her father Asclepius, which she gives to drink from the bowl in her left hand. In the lower centre on the base the coat of arms of Vincenzo Giustiniani. Print from a series after the sculptures in the collection of the Galleria Giustiniani, Rome.
