About this work
The Christ Child as Salvator Mundi, seated on a cushion and surrounded by a wreath of cherubs. Very coarse, reduced copy in the same direction after the engraving by Jan Saenredam after Hendrick Goltzius. Presumably by a child or illiterate person: inscriptions are copied without understanding the letters.
