About this work
Two scenes from the youth of Filippo Neri. As a boy he falls from a donkey and is protected by God (1522); at eighteen he goes with Saint Germano to Rome (1531-1532). Print no. 1 in a series of 44 prints depicting scenes from the life of Saint Filippo Neri.
