About this work

The personification of moral poetry with a lyre is illuminated by the rays around the mirror of the Naked Truth standing behind her. On the chest of the Truth, a sun. To the right sits Diligence. To the left, three putti with a book and globe. One of them points towards the personification of rage and foolishness, which is being driven away by Minerva.
