About this work

An emblem with two representations. Above: a sun and a moon with a celestial crown above them. Below: a landscape with a tree. On a branch sits a dove. Around the tree a winged ouroboros. These are devices of Elisabeth of France and Anna of Austria, wives of King Philip II.
