About this work
Sisera sleeps on the floor of a dilapidated building. He wears armor and next to him lie his club and his helmet. Jael holds a pin to his temple and in her raised right hand she has a hammer. To the right in the background Jael gives him milk to drink and to the left in the background the battlefield can be seen.
