About this work
Naked Truth with a book, palm branch, and foot on a globe stands on a pedestal with the book title. With her hand she reaches toward the sun. On the left Paulus with a sword, Johannes with an eagle, and Moses with a staff and stone tablets look at her. With their feet they trample unbelievers, here indicated as atheists, libertines, and rationalists. On the right three boys pull at the cloaks of scholars; they wish to learn God's word from them.
