About this work

Mirrored copy of an oval medallion, with legs, tail, and a tortoise head, decorated with a goldsmith's bouquet in 'cosses de pois' style. On both sides, two jewelry elements decorated with leaves. At the bottom, a man with his dog encourages a fight between a master and his apprentice.
