About this work
Central a circle, possibly the sun or a round mirror. Surrounding it a decorated frame with scrollwork in which six putti are engaged in astronomy and geography. At the top a star and a radiant sun (with face). On the scrollwork cherubim carrying trophies with astronomical measuring instruments in their mouths, at the bottom also two such trophies. Trial proof without text of a title page in Wenzel Jamnitzer, Perspectiva corporum regularium.
