About this work

Two ornate fireplaces. Left with a medallion containing a portrait in profile flanked by two angels, one blowing a trumpet, and a fireback at the bottom. Right with an angel blowing a trumpet and holding a palm branch, an empty heraldic shield with a crown above, a griffin, and a fireback at the bottom. The fireplaces flank a panel with an oval at the top containing Venus and Amor, a framed candelabrum in the middle, and a table with vases at the bottom. Print forms part of an album. Most likely a mirrored copy after a French original.
