About this work

Two ornate fireplaces. Left with a medallion containing a woman with a bow and a dog, two putti hanging from the medallion, a griffin with a candelabrum on its head to the left, and a fireback with a brazier at the bottom. Right with a medallion containing two figures flanked by an atlas and a caryatid, two medallions with portraits in the middle, and the whole supported by two tritons. A fireback with ram heads at the bottom. The fireplaces flank a panel with masks. Print forms part of an album. Most likely a mirrored copy after a French original.
