About this work
Two ornate fireplaces. Left with a medallion containing two goddesses, a putto, and a servant with a flower basket, a vase, a candelabrum in the form of a chimaera, and a fireback with horse heads. Right with a crowned shell motif, two mermaids, and a fireback with a mask with a palmette on its head. Print forms part of an album. Most likely a mirrored copy after a French original.
