About this work

Double-headed eagle with the portrait in the center. The eagle's heads are crowned and around its neck is a chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece. On the wings are the coats of arms of various German states and cities. In its claws, the eagle holds a sword and scepter on the left, and an imperial orb and olive branch on the right.
