About this work

Equestrian statue of Emperor Ferdinand II of Habsburg as Hercules Germanicus. The statue stands in a round temple, surrounded by four statues of Hercules. At the bottom of the statue a left personification of Invidia (Envy), with King Midas behind her. To the right a personification of War. Behind War possibly Saturn devouring a child.
