Monument for Pieter Adriaansz. van der Werff in the Hooglandse Kerk in Leiden

Monument to Pieter Adriaansz. van der Werff, burgomaster of Leiden during the siege of 1574, in the Hooglandse Kerk in Leiden by Rombout Verhulst (1661). At the top a portrait, in the center an oval with Latin text in a frame with oak leaf ornamentation and two putti, at the bottom two coats of arms and an hourglass. Below the portrait two columns of seven lines of Dutch text each.
