About this work
Two pages with fifteen mounted and labeled samples (707-752) of gold-decorated moldings on colored paper and samples of machine-printed decorative paper on the right. On the opposite left page, a table with handwritten corresponding specifications (in code) for each ornament. Part of the sample book donated by the Van Rijn ladies, presumably from a French manufacturer of luxury papers or its representative in the Netherlands, ca. 1830.
