Ice recreation on the frozen Maas near Rotterdam. To the right, the Oude Hoofdpoort; to the left, the Boompjes. With many people and groups on the ice, to the left an ice boat with several people, to the right a sled with two people. January 1784. In the caption, the titles in Dutch and French on either side of a vignette of two lions with the coat of arms of the city of Rotterdam.
