About this work

Arrival of Prince Willem Frederik on the beach of Scheveningen, 30 November 1813, to assume the government of the country as sovereign prince. The prince standing in the farmer's wagon. On the beach an enthusiastic crowd greets the prince. At the bottom the titles in Dutch and English, separated by the coats of arms of the prince and of Great Britain. The print is accompanied by a separate explanation.
