About this work

Map of a part of South Holland around the Biesbos. In the lower left, the title cartouche with the coat of arms of Holland above it. Surrounding it are putti and several figures, including a river god. To the right of the title cartouche, in the water, a cartouche with two scale bars: A Dutch mile of 2000 Rhineland rods; A French mile or an hour's walk. Degree division along the edges. Orientation: north to the right.
