About this work
In the upper left, the coat of arms of Zeeland supported by a triton and a female ichthyocentaur; to the left, a triton with a trumpet, and below it the title. To the left, above the island of Walcheren, a small scale bar: Scale of 1000 Bloysche rods making half a common Dutch mile. In the lower center, in the Western Scheldt, a large scale bar with on the left a female figure, in the center a seal, and on the right a fisherman with a rod and a compass: Scale of 2000 Bloysche rods, making a common Dutch mile, of 15 to a degree.
