About this work
Large representation on two plates of the siege and capture of Grave by the States army under Maurice, July-September 1602. Grave and the surrounding land on the Meuse with the quarter of the prince, Vere, Count Willem and Count Ernst Casimir. Top left an inset with a map of the land of Cuyck. Further cartouches with inscriptions, the dedication and the scales. Bottom right Prince Maurice and Frederick Henry on horseback. On the reverse the legend 1-29 and A-Z in Dutch.
