Departure of the Spanish garrison from Hulst (left sheet), 1645. Hulst, besieged by the States' army under Frederick Henry from September 28 and captured on November 5, 1645. Left sheet in a composition consisting of two sheets. In the foreground to the left at the city wall, Frederick Henry with his son Prince William II watching the departing soldiers. In the procession foot soldiers and the carriage with the Spanish governor Mouscron. In the background several forts.
