Part of a frieze on the mantelpiece in the Council Chamber of the Town Hall on the Dam

Part of a frieze on one of the two fireplaces in the Vroedschapskamer of the Town Hall on the Dam in Amsterdam. On that frieze, of which this representation is a part, an allegorical representation is visible in which Good Counsel, Unity, and Peace drive away vices such as Malice, Deceit, Selfishness, Drunkenness, Slander, and Venom.
