About this work
View of the Second Sint-Antonies Gate, built in 1636, and the associated bridge in Amsterdam, seen from outside the city. After the Fourth Expansion and the construction of the First Muider Gate (1663), this building had lost its function as a city gate. In 1670 it was to be demolished.
