About this work

Festive procession in the evening of the Orangist workers of the City Boatmakers' Yard, in the months October, November and December 1787. Long procession winds its way across the Kattenburgerplein, right 's Lands Zeemagazijn, in the background the Kattenburgerbrug. The workers carry axes and other tools, boards with the name of Prince William V, flags, insignia and symbols and burning tar pots and lanterns with candles.
