About this work

Title print with a central representation in which Father Time holds a mirror to a young woman with a globe. Surrounding it a border with small people, animals, and scrollwork with various inscriptions, printed from a second plate. On the sheet below the plate a poem in 4 columns. Print 1 in the series Het Groote Tafereel der Dwaasheid with satirical prints on the Wind Trade or Stock Trade of 1720.
