Standing behind Urania, from left to right: Claudius Ptolemaeus, possibly Albategnius or the author, King Alfonso X of Castile, and Philip Lansbergen. In the foreground are celestial globes and geometric instruments. The sun, moon, and zodiac are visible in the sky.
