About this work

The siege and capture of Breda by the States' army under Frederick Henry, 23 July - 10 October 1637. Part of an unmounted ensemble consisting of 9 sheets (and 2 text sheets missing here). Sheet bottom left with a part of the map and the cartouche with a verse and the dedication in Latin. The cartouche decorated with various military equipment, flags and armor, on top the personification of Victory (Victoria).
