About this work
Bottom left plate of a map of Palestine, with inscriptions relating to events of the Old and New Testament. In the border four scenes from the Old Testament: the Drunkenness of Noah, the Murder of Abel by Cain, Moses and Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. At the bottom a frame with a Latin text. On top of the frame sits the apostle Matthew.
