About this work
Bottom center plate of a map of Palestine, with inscriptions relating to events of the Old and New Testament. In the bottom border six scenes from the Old and New Testament. From left to right: the apostle Thomas, a tabernacle, the apostle James the Less, the apostle Philip, an altar and the apostle Bartholomew. At the bottom center a cartouche with the title of the print. Above the cartouche Christ with two angels. On either side of Christ sit the evangelists Mark and Luke.
