About this work
Statue of a young naked gladiator with the hilt of a sword in his hand. His shield leans against his leg and on his head he wears a helmet decorated with a small figure of an animal. The gladiator comes from the collection of Vincenzo Giustiniani, whose coat of arms is visible on the pedestal.
