About this work
Cybele rides in a chariot drawn by lions and holds a globe. A woman standing by the road wears the usual attribute of the Asian mother goddess, a crown in the form of a wall with towers. In the background, Minerva and another god walk with laurel wreaths in their hands. Zeus sits on a cloud and points the way to Cybele.
