About this work
A shepherd tends to a sheep with an injured paw. On the right the mercenaries are driven away who have captured the sheep to eat them. On the left good shepherds are seen who bring the sheep together again. Two of them carry a sheep on their shoulders. Below the image a verse in Dutch and French and references to various Bible verses.
