About this work

A man with a Bible and rosary in hand follows an angel pointing to an appearance of God in heaven. The man gives money to a beggar sitting on the ground next to his crutches. A short Latin text refers to Tobit 12:8a: 'Prayer [I] is good when accompanied by fasting [G], almsgiving [H]'.
