About this work

A man with a Bible and rosary in his hand follows an angel who points to an apparition of God in the sky. The man gives money to a beggar who sits on the ground next to his crutches. A short Latin text refers to Tobit 12:8a: 'Prayer [I] is a good thing if it is accompanied by fasting [G], almsgiving [H]'.
