Upper plate. In the foreground stands the 'Ecce Homo', the scourged and crowned with thorns Christ. Christ stands on a raised platform inscribed with 'Ecce Homo'. He wears a garment, his hands are bound, and in his right hand he holds a reed as a scepter. He is weeping.
