About this work

The man of God sits under a tree. A prophet from Bethel comes by on a donkey and invites him to come to his house to eat (1 Kings 13: 11-18). Although God has forbidden this, the man of God agrees. The print has a Dutch rhymed inscription and is part of a four-part series on the disobedient man of God.
