About this work

Christ on the cross, with the two thieves on either side. Below Christ's cross, a kneeling Mary Magdalene. In the lower left corner, three soldiers cast lots for Christ's garment. In the lower right, Mary lies in a faint. John cares for her. The print has a Latin inscription.
