The crucifixion of Christ on Mount Golgotha. On the left and right of him the thieves who were crucified with him. Stefaton holds the sponge before the face of Christ. In the foreground various bystanders and spectators. In the background are Mary Magdalene, Mary and the Holy John. In the margin a four-line inscription, with a dedication, in Latin.
