About this work
The fresco 'The School of Athens' by Raphael in the Stanza della Segnatura in the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican. It depicts a school of philosophy or agora where famous Greek philosophers and scholars, such as Aristotle, Plato and Socrates, stand in groups talking. It is a depiction of philosophy and its rational search for Truth.
