About this work
Bust of Ruggiero, a character from Ludovico Ariosto's epic 'Orlando Furioso'. On his head he wears a helmet decorated with a braided motif, leaves, plumes of feathers, and spikes. In the upper right, the title and eight Italian verses from the epic.
