Round depiction of Phaëthon, naked, falling beneath a radiant sun, the sun chariot of his father and the horses that drew it in the air behind him. In the background, a bay with burning buildings on the coast. Around the depiction, a Latin border inscription. This print is part of a series of four falling men: Tantalus, Icarus, Phaëthon, and Ixion.
