Round depiction of Ixion, naked, falling among smoke clouds in the darkness. In the background to the right, a representation of Ixion's punishment for his attempt to seduce Hera: he was bound to a burning wheel. Around the depiction, a Latin border inscription. This print is part of a series of four falling men: Tantalus, Icarus, Phaëthon, and Ixion.
