About this work

From left to right: Catherine appears before a dining company sitting at a table. Above the fireplace the saint is visible in a halo of rays.; Mystical marriage between Catherine of Siena and Christ. Between the couple stands Mary. In the background the witnesses: King David with the harp, St. Dominic with a lily branch, John the evangelist and the saint Paul.; Catherine stands in a church before a baptismal font. Christ is dressed as a poor man, without clothes. Catherine shares her cloak with him. In the margin an explanation of the representations in Latin. Fourth print from a series of twelve with the life and miracles of St. Catherine of Siena.
