From left to right: Catherine and a Dominican at the court of the pope in Avignon. They ask Pope Gregory XI to return to Italy.; During the Eucharist celebration Christ appears as a small boy before Catherine in the church. Instead of the priest Christ offers Catherine the host.; In the temple four scholars work on their sermons. Catherine appears to them, kneeling in a halo.
