About this work
In a garden stands the naked Jupiter as ruler over the liberal arts on a pedestal. He holds a thunderbolt and scepter in his hands, at his feet sits an eagle. Around Jupiter, figures practicing various arts. From under a pergola, two clergymen look on. In the sky, the symbol of Jupiter (center) and the zodiac signs Pisces (left) and Sagittarius (right).
