About this work
Salome and a young man dance(?) before a long table, at which various persons sit, among them Herodes. To the left a man holds a vat. To the right rear the blindfolded John the Baptist kneels before a man with a raised sword. Below the image a six-line Latin text with an explanation of the scene.
