About this work
This print with a peasant selling his products at the market has a pendant with a peasant woman who has displayed her wares. The figures are shown facing each other with titles on text bands which are fully integrated with the figures and their attributes. Both are fairly accurate copies of prints by Hans Sebald Beham.
